Manuel PASTOR was born in Spain in 1955 and settled in Australia. He studied in Australia and Spain. He graduated in conference interpretation from Georgetown University in Washington DC, USA. He holds a BA in Dip.Ed. in English studies from the University of Deusto, Spain. He has been a freelance interpreter since 1980 and a member of AIIC since 1987. He is a lecturer in interpretation studies at Macquairie University, Sydney.
